Super Series: Froggy

I've recently started reading the Froggy books by Jonathan London with my 4 year old daughter.

She was first introduced to them when we got a phonics pack of the books from the book fair at my school, and I started checking some of the books out from the library as well.  The series has always been popular with kindergarten and first grade students here because Froggy is silly, and the text is rather predictable so beginning readers can read them successfully with practice.

Here are a couple of our favorites:
Froggy Gets Dressed: Froggy just wants to play in the snow; howeve,r his mom keeps calling him back into the house ("FFRROOGGYYY!!!) to put on more clothes.  Will he ever get it all together to play outside?

Froggy Eats Out: It's his parents' anniversary, and they are taking him out to eat at a fancy restaurant.  But once they (finally) get there, Froggy just can't keep it together!!!  Will they be able to finish dinner there?
